WHAT IS MY RING SIZE?
Leather Rings:  As leather is a natural material it can be very forgiving and does stretch over time.  Cinderella’s step sister’s would have benefited greatly if this was the case in her fairy-tale.  The best way to size your selected ring finger, would be to take a piece of non-stretch string and wrap it around your finger.  Once you have marked the piece of string, lay it along a ruler and you will get the correct cm or mm.  As mentioned before, leather does stretch so if you find your ring a little tight in the beginning, don’t worry as it will stretch to fit you perfectly after your first time of taking it out on the town. 

Beaded Sterling Silver, Gold and Gemstone Rings:  Please follow the same guidelines as above in order to determine which size (Small, Medium, Large) is best suited for you.  If you are not convinced, you are welcome to contact me before placing your order.

HOW WOULD I ORDER A CUSTOM PIECE OF JEWELLERY?
We have many types and colours of leather as well as beautiful precious stones and crystals that can be worn purely as a fashion accessory, or they can be worn to balance or enhance one’s own energy.  Let me share an example, I often choose my jewellery pieces depending on where I feel I would need a boost in my day – during times of stress or grief, I would add a black onyx piece of jewellery to my look for the day.  This gorgeous stone not only provides a sleek look, but it holds protection and absorbs negative energy while helping to prevent one’s own energy being drained.  It also adds a punch in terms of developing emotional and physical strength, it's also said to increase one’s stamina.

WHAT IF I HAVE A DESIGN OR CONCEPT IN MIND FOR A GORGEOUS PIECE OF LEATHER AND GEMSTONE JEWELLERY PIECE,
HOW WOULD WE GO ABOUT BRINGING IT TO LIFE?
That’s easy!  Just send us a picture and detailed description of what you like as well as what you would prefer to change, we will then create a couple of mock ups’ with an estimated cost and share them with you, just to check that we are on the same page.  This will carry an additional fee that will be shared upfront based on the amount of creative brain power required to perfect your special piece.  We would even go as far as to include variations of the specified gemstone or crystal in our mock up to make it easier to visualise the proposed final product. 

WHY DOESN’T MY FABULOUS PIECE OF JEWELLERY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURE ON OUR WEBSITE?
All pieces are locally handcrafted with love, no two pieces of leather or even gemstone or crystal will be identical.  In fact, the gemstones and crystals will have many variations in one piece, giving it a deeper dimension and totally unique look.  This adds to the beauty of the piece that has been crafted especially for you.
We do try our best at being accurate, but we also believe it is these little differences that make our products special – no one will ever have the same exact piece as you.

CAN I BUY SOMEONE SPECIAL A GIFT & HAVE IT SENT DIRECTLY TO THEM?
What a lucky recipient they are!  Yes you can! Simply provide us with their preferred delivery address, and their name in the comments box when placing your order (as well as the special message you want them to receive with their gift) and we will ensure they receive your lovely gesture.  

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE I CAN SHOW OFF MY CUSTOM PIECE OF JEWELLERY?
Most of our pieces are made to order, which means we’ll need roughly 7 to 10 working days from the day you pay to process and manufacture your order. Once your piece is complete and has passed our quality control (it should take your breath away when you open the box!) it will then be shipped. Local South African shipping takes around 3 to 5 days, whereas international shipping can take between 2 and 5 weeks.  However, we do have a few items in stock that are ready to go, should your wish list just happen to match the specs of one these pieces…..whoop whoop….then you are lucky indeed and we will ship it via standard shipping as mentioned above, 24 hour delivery can also be arranged for an additional fee.
If you are super excited and cannot wait, or if, like some of us have, simply forgotten to place your order in time for a special event, please contact me on info@inspiritus.co.za and we will try our best to accommodate you.  Please note we are a very small team and receive quite a number of emails, so please allow us up to 24 hours for a response.

CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?
All sales are final, however, if your ring, necklace or bracelet is unworn and unscathed all goods can be returned to us within 7 days from date of delivery (kindly notify us by email as soon as possible). Pieces will need to be returned (at your own cost) in the original packaging. Please note that for hygienic reasons, no earrings can be returned (unless the item received is damaged – in this case, please do take a photo of the item as you unwrap it and pop us an email….it is sad, but sometimes things like this can happen – and we will contact you directly to remedy the situation).

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY DELICATE PIECES OF JEWELLERY?
All Inspiritus pieces are handmade using high quality and responsibly sourced materials.  Your beaded Sterling Silver (925), 9ct Gold and Gemstone beaded rings and bracelets should be gently rolled on and off with minimal stretching.  Using the LOFO principle - put your piece of jewellery on last (after all creams and perfumes) and take it off first before swimming or bathing. While we use jewellers grade strong elastic and glue, these items are still delicate and prefer to be handled with care.  Items such as perfume and sanitizer may discolour your jewellery, but not to worry, this is easily fixed by using the free jewellery cleaning cloth that came with your order.  For your non-precious metal items (stainless steel, gemstones and leather items), we recommend you gently wipe the items with a fragrance free / sensitive skin new born baby’s wet wipe after wearing or if the item should become soiled.
Your leather pieces of jewellery will change as it ages….as do we….so do take care of them and they will last you a life time.  The better care you take of your individual pieces, the more gracious they will age, just like George Clooney or Diane Keaton.

MY SILVER PIECES ARE CHANGING COLOUR, WHAT’S HAPPENING?
When worn regularly, our sterling silver pieces usually keep their original, bright colour. However, if a piece remains unworn for a period of time, or your skin is very acidic (hello….you are not alone!), it may very well start to tarnish. Not to worry through, it simply needs a little polish and PDA.
